MN Nano is a statewide, private-sector led coalition of industry, higher
educational institutions, government entities, service providers and investors
with a common goal to establish Minnesota’s standing as a region of excellence
in nanoscience.
Incorporated as a 501(c)(6) organization in March, 2006,
MN Nano was founded by: Entegris, Goodrich, Honeywell, Imation, Medtronic, MTS Systems, RJA Dispersions, Seagate and the University of Minnesota.
MN Nano Vision:
Minnesota will be a leader in nano-scale science and engineering, with sustained economic
growth via innovative nanotechnology applications.
MN Nano Mission:
To advocate for increased interest and investments in nano-scale education, research,
development and commercialization, focusing on key applications that build upon Minnesota’s
strengths such as:
advanced materials, sensors, electronics, energy, agriculture, food science,
biotech and biomedical technology.
